Eat your heart out, John Hammond! This concept art for JURASSIC WORLD (courtesy of International Busines Times) reveals a brand new, fully-constructed theme park, presumably on Isla Nublar (the site for the original Jurassic Park). If the rumors are true, the park is not only fully operational, but quite successful, pulling in millions of tourists a year, until, you know…shit starts breaking and people get eaten (which is hopefully what director Colin Trevorrow intends to show us).
I'm loving the gorgeous, modern look of this new park, complete with a monorail (replacing those awkward Jeep tracks) and a lovely beachfront (dig that waterfall). These concepts could very easily be altered for the final film, but this gives us a very clear idea of where JURASSIC WORLD will be set. Can't wait to see all this LOGAN'S RUN architecture get stomped on by T-Rex's and Spinosauruses!
JURASSIC WORLD is open for business on June 12th, 2015.
