The folks over at Titan Books have issued a new book dedicated to the art and design of the RIO movies, the second installment of which releases April 11.
The publication is titled THE ART OF RIO - which is a tad confusing as (technically) only the first film is called ‘RIO’ - yet the book itself actually pertains to both entries in the franchise. None the less, the cover does specify the inclusion of both films, so anyone actually holding the book is likely to figure it out, I suppose.
As with a vast majority of Titan titles, this is a lovely book - 192 pages of studies and concept art of characters, environs, etc. illustrating the extensive developmental process of both pictures. Titan sent along a fee pieces of sample art from the book, which is now available HERE.
