“Mentalist” got a 1.6 last Sunday and “The Good Wife” got a 1.3. Guess which show got an early renewal from CBS! The big difference, apparently, is CBS owns after-network rights to low-rated shows like “Good Wife,” “Blue Bloods” and “Hawaii Five-0,” but not the same rights for Warner Bros.-owned “The Mentalist.”
“Survivor,” “60 Minutes” and “48 Hours” were renewed for next season long before this week.
