From Doppelganger Releasing comes EVIL IN THE TIME OF HEROES, an epically scoped zombie flick which combined ancient myth with zombies and stars Billy Zane. Set in Greece, the film is directed by Yorgos Noussias and below is the official synopsis;Thousands of years ago in ancient Greece, a horde of blood-thirsty zombies begin wreaking havoc on humans, and only a mysterious cloaked hero known as Prophitis (Billy Zane) and his otherworldly weapons can save them. Flash forward to modern-day Greece where Athens is once again plagued by the carnivorous undead, and a ragtag band of human survivors—a taxi driver, a pair of hot-blooded soldiers, and a doctor—is on the run. And the elusive Prophitis is back, too. But zombies are only half the problem, as Greece has been targeted for destruction with a mega-bomb in order to contain the growing zombie virus. So now, the remaining humans must race against both zombies and time to ensure their survival!

Christian Slater’s pants are on fire in this WAY OF THE WICKED One Sheet!
Coming to Video on Demand and DVD on May 20th is the supernatural thriller WAY OF THE WICKED starring Vinnie Jones, Emily Tennant, Jake Croker, and Christian Slater. The official synopsis reads;Christian Slater (TRUE ROMANCE) stars with Vinnie Jones (SNATCH) in this heart-stopping supernatural thriller. After a series of inexplicable murders sweeps a small, isolated community, Father Henry (Slater) goes to a local police detective (Jones) with a theory on why the murders are occurring. The two learn that a troubled teen with a dark past has recently moved to town and has set his sights on the cop’s beautiful, young daughter. Father Henry, who turns out to have secrets of his own, finds himself pitted against a demonic force more diabolically evil and twisted than any of them could have imagined.

Starring scream queens Tiffany Shepis, Brinke Stevens, Elissa Dowling, and Jamie Bernadette, plus NBA all star Scot Pollard (WTF?), AXEMAN is one it’s way to DVD and VOD on May 6th. Directed by Joston Theney, AXEMAN is described as;An axe-wielding local legend slices and dices his way through some vacationing twenty-somethings in a blood-curdling movie experience.

THE HOUSE OF GOOD & EVIL have four new clips to share!
It’s no April Fool’s Day joke, THE HOUSE OF GOOD & EVIL is coming to DVD from Phase4 Films this April 1st. Starring Marietta Marich (THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING), Rachel Marie Lewis (BEACON POINT), Christian Oliver (SPEED RACER), Jordan Rhodes (THE INDIAN RUNNER) and Bo Keister (KILLING KENNEDY), the film has been getting good reviews and looks to be something worth checking out. Here’s the synopsis;After losing their unborn child, Chris and Maggie escape the pressures of the city to live in a secluded country home. But soon Maggie begins to experience strange events in this mind-bending countryside horror about dedication, grief, and insanity.

Pucker up for this APOCALYPSE KISS Red Band Trailer!
Low-fi sci-fi seems to be a big thing again as proven with the latest red band trailer for APOCALYPSE KISS which has the benefit of having some cool talent like Tom Atkins (MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D, HALLOWEEN III), Michael Berryman (THE HILLS HAVE EYES) D.C Douglas (CHUD), and Lloyd Kaufmann (TROMA of course!) starring in it. The film describes itself as BLADE RUNNER meets SIN CITY. Here’s the official synopsis;Adrian, a serial killer with O.C.D. fights for his place in the media while two nomadic lesbians are getting the credit for his murders. Meanwhile, the world as they know it is about to come to an end.
