FINALLY! Almost nine years after the first film and after being delayed almost a year, the first trailer for SIN CITY:A DAME TO KILL FOR is here:
The footage looks a little off to me. I don’t know if it is because it has more of a digital look or just because it is a short look at the film and my eyes haven't adjusted to the visual style. I imagine that when I see it I will get used to it though, so I am not too worried about that.
That is a hell of a cast Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller have put together. Mickey Rourke as Marv was far and away my favorite parts of the first film, so it’s great to see him looking like he hasn’t missed a beat. Joseph Gordon Levitt and Josh Brolin just look like they were born to star in something like this. Plus, we are going to get to see Powers Booth chewing scenery in a villainous role once again (hopefully it can be as awesome as his role in SUDDEN DEATH or even the first film). Not to mention, Frank Miller wrote original stories just for this film. So yeah, I am really looking forward to this.
SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR hits theaters August 22nd, 2014.
