After months of speculation, Paramount has found its Kyle Reese for Alan Taylor's TERMINATOR: GENESIS. Most recently, it was down to Jai Courtney (JACK REACHER) and Boyd Holbrook (MILK). Variety reports that casting has been finalized and Courtney will be taking on the role, joining Emilia Clarke (GAME OF THRONES) as Sarah Connor and Jason Clarke (ZERO DARK THIRTY) as John Connor. Of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger is also on board to reprise the role he made famous.
Personally, I have a really hard time seeing anyone other than Michael Biehn as Reese. He was the absolute shit, and one of the (many) reasons I love the original film so much. But it will be interesting to see what White does with the character this time around, and within the premise of this new story, whatever it turns out to be - plot details are still being kept tightly under wraps.
