Here’s a look t UNBROKEN, from director Angelina Jolie. This is a exploration of the ‘true story’ of Olympian Louis Zamperini, whose amazing tale was chronicled in a book of the same name by Laura Hillenbrand (SEABISCUIT). Throughout its development, the picture’s script was shaped by Joel and Ethan Coen, Richard LaGravenese (THE HORSE WHISPERER and writer/director of BEAUTIFUL CREATURES) and William Nicholson (FIRST KNIGHT, GLADIATOR, MANDELA: LONG WALK TO FREEEDOM). The mighty Roger Deakins (SKYFALL and many Coen films) is the DP on this one.
Look for UNBROKEN to begin its release pattern later this year in the US, widening into a global release next year.
