Hitfix has posted the first official teaser for UNDER THE SKIN. The new film from director Jonathan Glazer (SEXY BEAST) sharply divided audiences when it played the festival circuit, yet promises to be a memorable experience, one way or another.
The film tells the story of an alien (Scarlett Johansson) who travels the Scottish Highlands, seducing men who cross her path and leading them to their untimely deaths.
Not much is given away in this red-band footage (there is a brief moment of nudity, so be warned). But it does tease the bizarre tone and artistic style that we heard about from early festival screenings. Apparently, Glazer cut the trailer himself. The 30 seconds on display here has such a fantastic rhythm and flow to it - I can't wait to see what the full film holds.
UNDER THE SKIN opens on April 4th.
