20th Century Fox has released the first trailer has been released for the upcoming drama THE FAULT IN OUR STARS. Directed by Josh Boone, and written by Scott Neustadter (from the novel by John Green), the story follows Hazel (Shailene Woodley) and Gus (Ansel Elgort - two teenagers who meet at a cancer support group and fall in love. Naturally, their circumstances make for a relationship with its own unique set of problems and landmines, but the pair are determined to circumvent them.
Like many of you, I absolutely fell in love with Woodley after her performance in last year's THE SPECTACULAR NOW. She really has the ability to craft charming, likable, yet down-to-earth characters, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of that from her on this one.
THE FAULT IN OUR STARS co-stars Willem Dafoe, Nat Wolff, Laura Dern, Sam Trammell, Mike Birbiglia and Emily Peachey. It will open on June 6th.
