Another day, another STAR WARS: EPISODE VII casting rumor. This one comes from Big Shiny Robot and their podcast, Full of Sith. According to them, Oscar winner (and current nominee for Best Actress), Dame Judi Dench is up for the role of Mon Mothma. This seems to be a rumor that was being held and investigated on by mutiple outlets.
This is another long shot rumor, so take it with a grain of salt. But with it filming in England, it could work for the almost 80-year-old legend. Dench has expressed a desire to slow down the traveling and she wouldn't have to go far. I just have a hard time seeing her jump into a role for one of the most anticipated films of all time. She would certainly be a welcome addition to the film so hopefully there is some truth to this.
