Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Showbiz411's Roger Friedman talked to Martin Scorsese at one of the big post-Golden Globes parties and got an update on Scorsese's next project, a thriller set against 17th Century Japan called SILENCE.
Ken Watanabe and Andrew Garfield have already been cast and it looks like Adam Driver (GIRLS and about a trillion big franchise rumors that never seem to pan out) is going to join in on the fun, which begins production this coming summer.
I love that Scorsese is going strong and if The Wolf of Wall Street is any indicator, he's still bringing a young director's game to his projects. I hope we get at least another 10 flicks from him before he gets tired of entertaining us peons.
Thoughts?
