Hamlisch, who died last year, started out in film composing for “The Swimmer,” “Take The Money and Run” and “Bananas” and finished with “The Informant!” and “Behind The Candelabra.” In between there was “The Way We Were,” “The Sting,” “The Spy Who Loved Me,” “The Absent-Minded Waiter,” “A Chorus Line,” “Three Men and a Baby,” and a million other things. Dude was awesome.
