Awesome news on the WARCRAFT front! Deadline reports that Clancy Brown (HIGHLANDER, THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, STARSHIP TROOPERS) and Daniel Wu (TAI CHI ZERO, THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS, EUROPA REPORT) have been cast in the upcoming film, to be directed by Duncan Jones.
They will be joining the already-awesome cast of Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Rob Kazinski, Paula Patton, Travis Kimmel and Toby Kebbel.
Unfortunately (like the other cast members), we have no idea what roles they will be taking on, but they had better be AWESOME ones. The biggest sin in Hollywood today is bringing the fucking Kurgan onto a film and then wasting him or not giving him enough screentime.
I was already excited for this one, but adding Clancy Brown to the cast list easily makes it at least 30% cooler. He's the shit. And Daniel Wu is a badass. I have no idea how this will all come together, but I'm really looking forward to hearing story and character details as the project gets closer to production.
