Hello ladies and gentlemen, Muldoon here with this week's selection of fun flicks from fine folks like you and me. I hope you're in the mood to get rocked, because... well I've got a handful of films I think are worth your time - films that deserve your lovely attention - one's that will make you think while putting a smile on your face. So let's simply hop on into it, eh?
Go grab yourself some popcorn, lock your kids in a closet, kill the lights, relax and check out this little weekly film fest we've got ourselves here:
OUR LADY OF LOURDES
TRT: 17:17
To kick things off right, we've got a drama/horror film from director Peter Szewczyk. Go hit up Peter's website if you want to see more!

TURN ME ON, DEAD MAN
TRT: 11:01
"Leila is an older woman who has tried everything to have a child. But with no real results she turns to a darker force. Now having a victim she begins her descent into the macabre." First time filmmaker Luis Rivera's short taps into some pretty twisted religious horror fun!
DARKNESS COMES
TRT: 7:03
Bam! Here's director John Marsh and producer Dane Hallett's rockin' short that just blew up at Australia's Tropfest. "A desperate man, a derelict farmhouse, impending doom: What happens when DARKNESS COMES?"
ONE IN A MILLION
TRT: 2:20
Our next film is short, sweet, and filled with a fun level of tension. "Terry dreams of winning the lottery - could this be his lucky night?" Congrats to director Darren Langlands on filling two minutes with pure enjoyment.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE DEVIL?
TRT: 18:45
And to stick the landing, we've got our last film of the week: A horror/Drama from Alex Grybauskas. "On the floor of a bar restroom, a man on his deathbed is met by Danny Pickler: a former classmate of his ... who died twenty-six years ago. On the brink of damnation, he is offered a deal that could save his life - but in the process may destroy his humanity." Be sure to check out the film's Facebook page!

There we have it folks, this week's picks. My genuine apologies on the skimpy amount of text from me this week - I've had a truly packed week and in no way is my lack of analysis any reflection of the shorts, as you've hopefully seen. I'll see you all next week with more films sent in from AICN readers like you and me!

If you have a short and think it belongs here or are on the fence about whether to send it in, please do send it in - I'd love to see what you've put together. I've already seen hundreds of fresh new filmmakers' shorts and like any good addict, I need more!
Shoot me an email at "Mike@aintitcool.com"
In the subject line include:
“SHORTS” + “Your film’s name” + “The film’s genre”
Then, in the body of the email, please include a synopsis of the film and any contact information you might think I need or would want published. The more info you send my way, the more info there is to put with your short.
Please don’t feel the need to submit multiple times.
Remember, the filmmakers might still be in the audience, so feel free to share your thoughts in Talkbacks below. (JUST DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE). I picked them, so you know I think highly of all of these, but how about you fine folks? How'd you like 'em?
BY THE WAY: If you've had a short featured here, that means that I personally am a fan of your work, so feel free to shoot me any kind of news on new projects/films/whatever. I can't say I'll be able to help or in what capacity, but I'm interested in your work and am always down to see more! (Keep making cool stuff, everyone!)
