Sacha Baron Cohen and Louis Leterrier Teaming Up for Spy Comedy GRIMSBY!

Hey guys! Horrorella here...

It looks like Sacha Baron Cohen may have found his latest project. He was slated to star in the long-gestating Freddie Mercury biopic, but left that project earlier this year. Variety is reporting that he will be teaming up with director Louis Leterrier (THE INCREDIBLE HULK, CLASH OF THE TITANS) on an upcoming spy comedy entitled GRIMSBY.

The story was written by Baron Cohen and Phil Johnston (WRECK-IT RALPH) and will follow a black ops agent who is forced to team up with his long lost soccer-hooligan brother and go on the run.

It is unclear which role Cohen will be playing, though given his character history, I could honestly see him diving into both. Due to the action elements that will be present in the film, Cohen was reportedly searching specifically for an action-oriented director for this particular project, and Leterrier has been pursuing it pretty hardcore since NOW YOU SEE ME hit theaters over the summer.

What do you guys think?
