The highly anticipated trailer for Darren Aronofsky's upcoming Biblical epic, NOAH has arrived online. And as a bonus, Paramount has also released an international trailer as well, which contains some additional footage.
As expected, the film looks absolutely gorgeous. Aronofsky has always had an incredible visual style, but the stunning backdrops and locations only serve to enhance it. What I'm really looking forward to seeing is just how he will tell the Biblical story. Aronofsky has a history of telling intimate tales of tragic figures, and I'm curious to see how he points that lens at a story that we all learned in Sunday school. The story of Noah and the flood has never really been an emotional or heart-wrenching tale for me, and I'm really curious to see Aronofsky's take on it.
The film stars Russell Crowe in the titualar role, as well as Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Kevin Durand, Martin Csokas, Mark Margolis, and Anthony Hopkins.
NOAH will open on March 28, 2014.
