One of the films being release this Holiday season that is probably going to be high on the list of families, Disney fanatics and Mary Poppins fans is SAVING MR. BANKS, the story of how Walt Disney (Tom Hanks) and Mary Poppins author P.L. Travers (Emma Thompson) brought her famous tale of the stange, yet wonderous nanny to the big screen, to the delight of people everywhere.
Today, two featurettes were released in anticipation of the film's December 27th release. Both feature interviews with the cast, as well as with director John Lee Hancock, and footage from the film's trailer.
The first (via Yahoo!), is a brief look at the story of the film, and how Disney and Travers worked to bring the character to life, both having distinctly different visions of what the finished product would look like.
The second (via THR) is more of a look at the character of Travers herself, and Emma Thompson's portrayal.
