Eleven days after “Thor: The Dark World” first hammers American cinemas, ABC will air a sequel of sorts (albeit one not featuring any characters or actors from the feature).

In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World, Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces – one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team.
“The Well” is not the final “SHIELD” of November sweeps. The series’ ninth installment, “Repairs,” is set to air Nov. 26, the day before the end of sweeps. I’m guessing it will focus on Phil Coulson.
The “Agents of SHIELD” pilot served as a sequel to both “The Avengers” (with its copious references to Coulson’s violent death and mysterious resurrection) and “Iron Man Three” (with its copious references to the Extremis technology that vexed Tony Stark).
