Hey Yo, Draven here.

While we wait to hear if there is going to be a follow up to PACIFIC RIM, Guillermo del Toro is gearing up to shoot his next film, CRIMSON PEAK. THR is reporting that the film is scheduled to shoot from February 10, 2014 to May 14, 2014 with a release date in April 2015.

The film already has Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowsa, and Charlie Hunnam attached to star. Papa Vinyard previously described the film like this in June:

Her (Wasikowsa) and Charlie Hunnam (also in del Toro's PACIFIC RIM) will play a young couple that meets and falls in love at the turn of the 20th century. They marry, and end up in a mansion that may, or may not, be haunted. Soon Hunnam's character starts exhibiting behavior that puts poor Wasikowska in fear for her life. Benedict Cumberbatch (Tom Hiddelston) and Jessica Chastain have supporting roles as members of a high-class family that gets involved with the newlyweds.

/Film also has some interesting quotes from Hiddleston on the script for CRIMSON PEAK:

"The script itself is bone chillingly terrifying. When I was reading it for the first time I had to get up and walk around the room, then sit down again because I was so scared."
