On last week’s “Agents of SHIELD,” directed by Milan Cheylov (“Once Upon A Time,” “Touch”) from a screenplay credited to Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon, hot hacker-girl Skye learned to lean into a heavy bag as part of her field training. Coulson stormed a beach in a business suit.
Also, Agent Grant Ward claimed his truth-serum “overshare” was a ruse (something I suspected immediately, for the record). Melinda May decided she wanted combat after all. And Coulson dropped top Canadian physicist Franklin Hall into a massive silvery mass of gravity juice.
ABC says of tonight’s “Eye Spy”:
Agent Coulson and the S.H.I.E.L.D. team try to track down a mysterious woman who has single-handedly committed numerous high-stakes heists. But when the woman's identity is revealed, a troubling secret stands to ruin Coulson.
“SHIELD” is one of the three best-rated dramas in all of broadcast television. It received a full season order last week.
