ASS BACKWARDS is the story of two friends who met at a beauty pageant when they were kids, lost, and bonded through the horrific experience, remaining besties from that day forward, despite never really achieving much else. One day, they receive an invitation to return to their hometown to participate in an anniversery pageant and return to their former glory.
The film stars Casey Wilson and June Diane Raphel, who also co-wrote the script, and was directed by Chris Nelson. Alicia Silverstone, Jon Cryer, Vincent D'Onfrio, Paul Sheer, Bob Odenkirk, Brian Geraghty and Sandy Martin.
It looks promising, in a BFF comedy/road trip/"Fuck you, naysayers" kind of way.
