GAME OF THRONES' Natalie Dormer to participate in the HUNGER GAMES for MOCKINGJAY: PARTS 1 & 2!

Papa Vinyard here, and I got somethin' for ya...

Straight from the horse's mouth (the horse, in this case, being Lionsgate's official HUNGER GAMES Twitter account), we have news that Natalie Dormer, better known as Margaery from the House Tyrell on GAME OF THRONES, is signed on to join the franchise in it's third and fourth entries. She'll be playing Cressida, a bald-headed Capitol resident/documentary director who joins Katniss Everdeen's quest to overthrow the government. Her and her camera crew become a huge part in putting Katniss' face and message out there for the masses to rally behind.

Dormer is an alluring, mature presence on GOT (I also like her brief cameo in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER where she mouth-seduced Cap'n right in front of Peggy Carter), and she seems to be the perfect geek-friendly up-and-comer for this important role. This franchise is massive, and the part could very well boost her spot on the cultural radar even more than GAME OF THRONES.

Now, let's see if Julianne Moore is actually signing on as well...

Can you believe this woman's almost 10 years older than Jennifer Lawrence? Boggles the mind.

THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY -PART 1 will fly on November 21st, 2014, while PART 2 drops on November 20th, 2015.
