Hey folks, Harry here... DON JON is many things, but first and foremost, it is Joseph Gordon Levitt's directorial debut - but besides that, it's a portrait of male dysfunction brought upon by Porn expectations, but beyond that - the film plays with how all the things we digest intellectually - be it porn, Young Adult romance novels, Rom Coms at the theater... well they pollute our expectations of reality. This film goes to many unexpected places, but it does so with humor, emotion and an honesty that is too often missing from films of this type. The movie played wonderfully at SXSW this year, and I can't wait for the rest of y'all to have a chance to check it out! It's really really great! Here's the oh so brief trailer:
