QUE ONDA CIMEMANIACOS !!!! and welcome one more time to LATIN-AICN, as you all may know me (LOBO) and Sister Satan had our baby this Saturday morning !!!! We are so happy to finally have him in our arms... and we can't wait for us to share and learn things with him. For all of you readers I would like to announce his name ;
JAY GIOVANNI <--- yes this is our son's name and sometimes we called him LOBITO.
I am writing (wrote) this after we got back from the hospital with our little one this afternoon and for me this is a way to show myself and others that no matter how wonderful the excuse might be, you always have time to do your work and be responsible.

**** SYLVESTER STALLONE is filming a movie about car racing and to make it more realistic he asked the Brazilian HELIO CASTRO NEVES for the trophy he got in the Grand Prix in Detroit.
**** the L.A. LATINO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is going to broadcast some of his content on the WEB @ www.latinofilm.org and don't forget like I said last Tuesday this festival will begin on the 21st of July they are going to give an award to "LA DOÑA "MARIA FELIX show a movie with PENELOPE CRUZ.
**** PEDRO ALMODOVAR talked about some of his future projects in Cuenca, SPAIN and he mentioned that he is thinking of having ANTONIO BANDERAS and PENELOPE CRUZ in one them.
**** After some arranges on the script, COLLATERAL DAMAGE will start filming in VERACRUZ, MEXICO around the end of September and beginning of October. (( I think KONAN was afraid of the hurricanes ))
**** ANTONIO SERRANO (Sexo, Pudor y Lagrimas) is getting ready for his next project called "La Hija del Canibal", that will go on the works next year.
**** X-MEN is already out in PUERTO RICO !!! (( maybe because of the relation between the goatsucker and wolverine )) just kidding... according to StanLee.com it was released there on July 2nd.
MAKING REAL NOT REEL HISTORY
This is a special REAL WORLD news item for all of the people from MEXICO ; Finally after 71 years of the PRI having the total power and the lack of how to do good for Mexico, finally the end has come. The other political party PAN won the presidential elections having as candidate Vicente Fox. This is a big step in the history of Mexico, after years and years on trusting the wrong party and watching they steal from the people and suffer the circumstances without doing anything, we have already decided that a change was the best solution for our Country and we hope that by this Revolution in peaceful terms we find an end to the corruption, crime and a better future for our country, the future that has being stored and filling the pockets of every single one of the Presidents before this big moment 71 years back. So far so good ..the dollar has drop some points and this is a good start. Congratulations to all of my comrades and let's not just wait to see what happens but continue to participate in the change and make it better (EL PUEBLO UNIDO JAMAS SERA VENCIDO). VIVA MEXICO !!!!!!!!!!
STAR WARS IN CUBA
This is something that in particular I think is really cool... not because of STAR WARS... but for the fact that a movie from U.S. made it in CUBA. Just after I saw a short film called "LA ESQUINA CALIENTE" (HOT CORNER) which by the way I really liked, I find out that there is an invasion. EPISODE I strikes CUBA , because of the embargo that it seems is somehow coming to an end (partially) thanks to the adventure of pipo Elian Gonzalez and what it came with it, USA isn't doing any trade with the neighbor island, but LUCAS didn't sold/rent the movie, he gave it up as a donation. To cool to believe it, but I personally believe that there is a lot of people like LUCAS who uses a force to go through walls that some people build . The movie will be showing all over the island and as far as I know is the newest film to be in CUBA in a long ...long..time. I am not a communist , I just believe that there should not be any walls......and if there is .... look inside yours first... (( think about Fidel Castro .... now think about the master of Obi... ))
ANTHONY QUINN
After the movie Orundi, it seems that ANTHONY QUINN will be in one more movie. Right now he is going through the negotiations of the project, that is based on the novel of Jose Luis Parise "EL CAMINO" and written by Oscar Tabernise. Mr. QUINN is interested in this project from Argentina but that is if he gets to play a better character than the one he got offered. He wants to be a Priest that has a special part on it. At this time the name of the director to take this film is unknown but there is a chance that might be ALFONSO ARAU(Walk in the clouds,L-W-F-Chocolate ) and for the rest of the crew is either ANTONIO BANDERAS or JOSE SACRISTAN.
GATES OF FIRE / THE OTHERS / MINORITY REPORT

This El hispano again, your most reliable source from Spain. A few days ago, I came across an interview in the newspaper El Mundo with George Clooney. Among other things, the actor explained that one of his future projects is a film called "Gates of Fire" , about the "War of the Termopilas" in the ancient Greece, that Michael Mann is preparing for next year. He said that this will be a very big film with a huge budget attached (100-120 million $). But Clooney stated that his participation is not sure due to his already busy schedule.
He went on saying that in a recent phone call to Bruce Willis, the actor from The sixth sense expressed his great interest in being in the movie.
And yesterday Tom Cruise who was in Madrid for the M:I 2 premiere, declared that he will begin to film Minority Report with Spielberg in April. He also said that he will spend all the summer in Madrid as the producer of "The others" directed by Alejandro Amenabar starring his wife Nicole Kidman and also that he is considering to do the american remake of the big spanish hit "Open your eyes".
