Here's the international trailer for one of Quint's favorite movies of the year: Cheap Thrills!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. We're mostly through the onslaught of big tentpole summer movies and have crested the midpoint of the year, so it's around this time that I'm routinely asked what my favorites of the year are.

There have been many that have worked for me. This Is The End, The Spectacular Now, Don Jon, The Kings of Summer, Pacific Rim and Mud all come to mind, but there's also this little piece of weirdness that became one of my favorite films of SXSW called CHEAP THRILLS.

Drafthouse Films picked it up at SXSW and that's a great place for it. Directed by EL Katz and starring Pat Healy, Ethan Embry, David Koechner and Sara Paxton, this mean, funny, line-crossing low budget thriller made its mark on me. In a weird way, Cheap Thrills and the upcoming home invasion flick You're Next would make a hell of a double feature. They both go in some very wrong places and are both darkly funny. I love movies like this and we don't get to see them very often.

Below is the international trailer for Cheap Thrills, which gives you a glimpse at the set up and the madness that ensues.
