Hey guys! Horrorella here...
A new trailer has arrived for Ron Howard's upcoming racing flick, RUSH. The film is set in the '70's, and will detail the rivalry between Formula One drivers James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl).
Earlier trailers have focused more on the rivalry through the lens of Lauda and the accident that he suffered in 1976, as well as his subsequent return to racing. This one has a more playful vibe and focuses more on the party-boy/celebrity lifestyle courted by Hunt before Lauda showed up on the scene and began threatening his throne.
Ultimately, it looks like both stories will be focal points within the film, as we see the impact that the rivalry had on the drivers' careers and on the racing world.
Universal recently announced that RUSH would be opening a week later than planned, giving it a release date of September 27th.
