Variety is reporting that Sony has signed 21 JUMP STREET and CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS directors, Chris Miller and Phil Lord for a comedy titled, THE REUNION. Story details are unknown, other than it taking place at a high school reunion.
Miller and Lord have a lot of upcoming projects, including the sequel, 22 JUMP STREET, THE LEGO MOVIE, and the TV show, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE. So to add another project on top of the others, means we likely won’t see this for a few years. I really liked both CLOUDY and 21 JUMP STREET, so if these guys can keep up the consistency and are able to be this prolific, I am all for it.
