Hey guys! Horrorella here...
Big news, horror fans! Jonathan Levine's (50/50, WARM BODIES) first feature-length film, the long-awaited, much pined-for ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE, will finally be hitting VOD on September 6th, and will have a theatrical run starting October 11th.
This film created huge buzz when it was doing the festival circuit back in 2006, but through the massive calamity of ALL of the stars failing to align, is only now, seven years later, seeing a U.S. release, courtesy of Radius-TWC.
The film centers on beautiful teenager Mandy Lane (Amber Heard), who joins a group of new friends at a secluded ranch for the weekend, only to discover that an uninvited guest has joined them, as the party-goers start getting picked off, one by one.
While the story sounds like a thousand others that you have seen before, I promise - MANDY LANE offeres something a bit different. I got tired of waiting on it last year, so I bought the UK DVD, and really liked what I saw. It's a solid horror flick that really plays with some of the standard conventions.
Here's the UK trailer - I'm sure we will be getting an updated one soon in preparation for the U.S. release.
In the meantime, start getting excited, because the wait is finally over!
