Now that trailer is fucking awesome. It’s over 3 minutes long and has some really great looking shots. Matt Damon looks like he is going back to his ass kicking mode, which is going to be fun. Jodie Foster looks like she was born for her role and Sharlto Copley looks like he is going to steal the whole damn thing as the bad ass antagonist, Kruger. Those fight scenes we get a glimpse of in the trailer look epic.
I was really excited for Neill Blomkamp’s follow-up to DISTRICT 9, and it looks like he is going to take what he did with that film to a whole new level with ELYSIUM. I cannot wait to see what he has done here, especially because I know there is going to be a lot more to ELYSIUM than any of the trailers are going to give away.
ELYSIUM hits theaters on August 9th.
