Nordling here.
Yeah, I'm excited. I don't give a damn - I loved THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY, all 3000 minutes of it. Yeah, it's long, but I don't care. I loved being back in that world, even for only a couple of hours. And now, this Christmas comes the second installment, and I can't wait.
We get a pretty decent look at Smaug in this, and I can't wait to see his and Bilbo's parley. Next to the Riddles in the Dark, that's my favorite bit in the book. We also get Legolas with a bit more dialogue than in the book (as in - from no dialogue at all to several scenes) and more action than I expected. Can't wait to return to Middle-Earth. This trailer is playing in front of MAN OF STEEL, but you can see it here, courtesy of Facebook:
THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG opens this Christmas, a big fat gift right down the chimney.
Nordling, out.
