Spike Lee's OLDBOY remake gets pushed back two weeks to October 25th!!

Howdy do, everyone, it's Papa Vinyard here.

Spike Lee's hyped-up remake of Chan-Wook Park's OLDBOY has been pushed back from it's original release date of October 11 to two weeks later, on October 25. It's up against Paranormal Activity 5, meaning it will be the more expensive, more star-powered, and, somehow, less outwardly commercial entity on the market that week. From what I've read, it seems to follow the plot of the original film closely (aside from extending the lead's imprisonment from 15 years to 20), and does not relent on the intensity as much as one would expect from a Hollywood remake.

Personally I am excited to see Lee tackle his first remake, and, if the fanboys/fangirls turn out in droves, what could usurp Inside Man as his highest-grossing movie to date. The cast, including Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Sam Jackson, and Sharlto freakin' Copley (who apparently kills it) certainly has my interest as well.
