Hey folks, Harry here... one of my favorite aspects of the PACIFIC RIM script - was what is known as the DRIFT SPACE - which is the psychic computerized link that the dual pilots share - which makes for some beautiful and emotional imagery. It is also something that is incredibly rare for people to be able to do. This featurette has a whole bunch of different imagery from the film, but this is such an imagination rich universe that Guillermo is attempting to blow us away with - that we have a giant monster versus giant robot cinematic world that's been completely realized with amazing tech, but the inclusion of cyberpunk elements... well, it just makes all this stuff that much more cool.
