Writers Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, the trio behind animated series “King of the Hill,” “The Goode Family” and “Beavis & Butt-head,” make their live-action TV debuts with the project, which depicts nerds making their fortunes in high technology.
For the big screen, Judge wrote and directed “Office Space,” “Idiocracy” and “Extract.”
The Judge-directed “Silicon Valley” pilot stars Martin Starr (“Party Down,” “Burning Love”), T.J. Miller (“Our Idiot Brother," "The Goodwin Games”), Thomas Middleditch (“The Campaign”), Josh Brener (“Glory Daze”), Lindsey Broad (“The Office,” “21 Jump Street”), Christopher Evan Welch (“The Master,” “Lincoln,” “Admission”), Amanda Crew (“The Haunting in Connecticut”), Angela Trimbur (“Californication”), Zach Woods (“The Office”) and Kumail Nanjiani “Franklin & Bash”).
