I liked last year’s, horror anthology, V/H/S and from everybody who has already seen V/H/S 2, it is apparently leaps and bounds better than the original. (Quint really enjoyed it.) The red band trailer above from Yahoo, shows a little of what people have been praising. The chaotic energy, the pacing being must faster, and it just being an overall more consistently terrifying film than the original.
The lineup this time includes segments directed by, Simon Barrett (writer of YOU’RE NEXT, V/H/S, THE ABCs OF DEATH), Jason Eisener (HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN), Gareth Evans (THE RAID: REDEMPTION), Gregg Hale & Eduardo Sanchez (The Blair Witch Project), and Adam Wingard (YOU’RE NEXT, A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE). That is a great list of filmmakers coming together for this, so I can’t wait for June 6th when this comes to us all via VOD.
