Live in Chicago' Want to see George Romero's Latest film BRUISER and meet George'

Hey folks, Harry here. While Capone might not be able to recall much about BRUISER, I on the otherhand do... If you remember, we had some pretty good word of mouth about the film out of a special Cannes screening. Also we've had a couple of different trailers up for the film... and I must say... they were a bit creepy. BUT folks... if you live in the Chicago area and Don't check this out... Then just stop calling yourself cool or a geek, cause dude... Pittsburgh is visiting your fucking area and you have got to be there!!! Get off your ass, then tell the poor unfortunate souls like me, how it went. Romero in da Houseeee!

Hey Harry, Capone in Chicago here with some more great news for horror-loving Chicagoans.

A couple weeks ago I told you about the Universal Studios horror film series at the Music Box Theatre (starts this weekend with DRACULA, everybody; I'll be at this Saturday's 11:30 a.m. screening. I'll be the one with the violin case. See you there! ). Now I have word from the newly renamed Gene Siskel Film Center at the School of the Art Institute (just behind the Art Institute on Michigan Ave.) that the great George Romero will be visiting to screen his latest frilm BRUISER.

I know nothing about this film and don't recognize any of the actors in it, but who cares because Romero will be in the house to do the Q&A thing after the screening. The event takes place Saturday, July 29 at 8 p.m.

The Film Center is also scheduling a series of Romero's films to commemorate this event. On July 27, the rarely screened JACK'S WIFE (1972) at 6 p.m.; July 28, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD at 6 p.m. (seems to early) and MONKEY SHINES at 8 p.m.; July 29, THE CRAZIES (1973) at 3 p.m.; and, of course, BRUISER at 8 p.m.

For complete details, check out the Film Center's web site: Click Here For it Babeeee

Harry, I'll send you the review just as soon as I've seen BRUISER.
