Hey folks, Harry here... I love Tom Hiddleston, but I am curious if anyone can actually adequately play THE CROW in light of Brandon Lee's magnificent portrayal and the incredibly ironic death which made the role of Eric Draven practically inseparable from Brandon. With BEFORE THE FALL's F. Javier Gutierrez directing - I definitely have a strong interest in seeing this. James O'Barr's THE CROW is a powerful role, but all the sequels left a real bad taste in my mouth.
The news got broke by Jeff Snieder of The Wrap just a while ago, and he reports that Tom Hiddleston did his own personal makeup test for the role - They're going to try to bottle lightning in making this movie - but I'm rooting for them. It's tough, THE CROW is one of those films that I just love. Hiddleston is a remarkable talent and this will give him a chance at another high profile role, one that he should be able to fly with.
