Once again, we're reminded that Kevin Feige has a big-picture view of the main Marvel Studios narrative. Obviously, Thanos looms large as the Phase Two standalone films build towards THE AVENGERS 2. Will he poke his nose into those solo movies? I could see him turning up briefly in THOR: THE DARK WORLD, but he'd be hilariously out of place in the more grounded CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER. Perhaps he'll make a post-credits sequence or two. Or maybe Marvel will keep their AVENGERS chocolate out of the standalone movies' peanut butter altogether.
