It looks like we’re getting more than 13 episodes of Netflix’s pricey webseries “House of Cards.”
The fabulous Constance Zimmer, who plays journalist Janine Skorsky on the series, relayed the news via Twitter.
I’ve seen season one’s first nine episodes and can tell you this is very good news. The project could end up making Kate Mara (who plays Skorsky’s colleague Zoe Barnes) a bigger star than her sister, “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” lead Rooney Mara.
Overseen by screenwriter Beau Willmon (“Ides of March”) and director David Fincher (“The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”), the project stars Kevin Spacey as wily U.S. House of Representatives majority whip Francis Underwood, a character who knows how to get things done in the nation’s capital.
