I thought the Behind the Scenes Pic of the Day smelled bad… on the outside.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Picture.

Happy Monday, everybody! As you could probably tell by the headline we are taking a look at the making of The Empire Strikes Back. We’ve featured this movie a lot in the column and by God we’ll feature it a lot more before its days are done.

There are many great behind the scenes shots from Empire, but this is one that I didn’t recognize. Perhaps it is obscure or I’m just a dumbass with a bad memory (the latter is more likely). Either way, it’s a good pic featuring Irvin Kershner taking a photo of the full scale Millennium Falcon. Could you imagine standing on that set? Holy shit!

Thanks to Daniel Hopp for sending the image along. It’s a good ‘un!

If you have a behind the scenes shot you’d like to submit to this column, you can email me at quint@aintitcool.com.

Tomorrow’s pic is torn.
