That 3.1 is the worst rating ever for a regular episode of “American Idol,” which began the season with a 5.6.
“Big Bang Theory” and “Two and a Half Men” both hit season lows last Thursday.

Compare, if you will, the ratings of Ashton Kutcher’s “Two and a Half Men” and Charlie Sheen’s “Anger Management.” Sheen and his fellow actors get paid zillions, but I’d argue the money’s better spent on writers.
