Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Produced by Ridley Scott, this flick has a ton of stuff going for it. I always appreciate a good cast and this one seems to be bringing in a lot of great UK character actors, including David Morrissey (sans eye-patch), Mark Strong, Jason Flemyng, Peter Mullan and even James McAvoy. I say "even" because he's considered a leading man, which is great and he's very good at it, but I think he has a lot of traits that I dig in character actors. My first exposure to him was in Rory O'Shea Was Here and that role is totally character actor bait.
Anyway, I'm a big fan of the "gritty British Crime story" subgenre, so this one seems right up my alley.
The flick was already released in the UK to mixed reveiws and sees US release at the end of the month. Check out the new trailer here:
