Sounds like Danny Boyle's long-in-the-wind-but-not-moving-quickly TRAINSPOTTING sequel may be picking up steam.
In a discussion with The Playlist, Boyle revealed that longtime collaborator John Hodge, who adapted the first TRAINSPOTTING film from author Irvine Welsh's novel of the same name, is currently at work on a TRAINSPOTTING follow-up which would use PORNO, Welsh's 2002 TRAINSPOTTING follow-up, as a loose inspiration.
"It's very loosely based on 'Porno.' There's a couple of things that are based on the book, but obviously we'd have to have Irvine on board."
As for wich cast members might return, Boyle...
...hopes to make the film in 2016 and thinks he can get the entire original cast, including Ewan McGregor, back on board.
