I am – Hercules!!

Jeffrey Wright (the title character in “Basquiat,” Peoples Hernandez in “Shaft” and Felix Leiter in “Casino Royale”) will take what looks to be his biggest TV role to date.

Deadline Hollywood reports he becomes a regular next season on “Boardwalk Empire,” playing Valentin Narcisse, described by the site as a “Doctor of Divinity, philanthropist, student of culture and the man who runs Harlem.”

Presumably he’ll share the screen with Arnold Rothstein, Meyer Lansky, Lucky Luciano, Bugsy Siegel and the other New York mobsters New Jersey-based Nucky Thompson has encountered over the series’ run.

Others added to the cast next season include Ron Livingston (“Dinner For Schmucks”) and Domenick Lombardozzi (Herc Hauk on “The Wire”).

"Boardwalk" should be back on HBO this autumn.
