My advice? Now’s the time to watch season two of HBO's “Enlightened” on On Demand. It’s only four hours long. Its season finale is tonight. You don’t have to watch season one to enjoy it. It’s the brainchild from screenwriter Mike White (“Freaks And Geeks,” “Orange County,” “The Good Girl,” “School of Rock,” “Year of the Dog”). I found it impossible to stop watching once I started. HBO sent the whole second season at once way back when. I was up watching till 7 a.m. because I had to know what happened next. That never happens.

“The Apprentice” returns tonight and continues to demonstrate how dopey Donald Trump is. (Do you know his investigators uncovered proof that Obama was not born in Hawaii, yet Trump refuses to share it with anybody?)

Tonight’s “Apprentice” tasks are kind of snoozy affairs, but be sure to tune in for the boardroom. Piers Morgan, the first “Celebrity Apprentice” winner and now a Trump advisor, pecks mercilessly at the deliriously dim Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, whom Morgan defeated effortlessly during the first “celebrity” edition. (9pm NBC)
