Beneath the streets of London, two teenage boys discover an incredible, hidden underground world where a secret civilization has been desperately waiting for a hero to save them all. Mikael Håfström directed John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson in the rather creepy 1408 back in 2007, and recently shot THE TOMB with Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Jim Caviezel, Sam Neill, Vinnie Jones, and 50 Cent.
TUNNELS is being produced by brothers Mark and Neil Canton. Mark brought us 300 and its upcoming sequel, and 2010's wondrous PIRANHA remake and it's unfortunate 2012 sequel. Neil Canton produced the BACK TO THE FUTURE trilogy and BUCKAROO BANZAI. Which, for my money, makes him extremely awesome.
