HARRY POTTER’s Ron Weasley, Rupert Grint, To Play Superhero In KICKASS-ish CBS Pilot!!
Rupert Grint, who played young wizard Ron Weasley in many Harry Potter movies, will play a fast-food worker who decides to get into the superhero game.
The premise reminds me a lot of Mark Millar’s “Kickass” and James Gunn’s Rainn Wilson vehicle “Super.”
The project was ripped, er, masterminded by Greg Garcia, who spent many years at CBS with his brainchild “Yes, Dear” before overseeing the unlicensed “Raising Arizona” retreads “My Name Is Earl” and “Raising Hope” at other networks.
