I've been waiting for Danny Boyle to get back to making mindfuck movies.  TRANCE certainly looks like one of those.  As a director, Boyle can seem to leap into any genre, and TRANCE looks like something I'd really enjoy.  Plus Vincent Cassel is always welcome.  TRANCE is co-written by John Hodge (along with Joe Ahearne), who with Boyle brought us SHALLOW GRAVE and TRAINSPOTTING, so this feels like a return to Boyle's roots.  The Red Band trailer is a bit sexy, a bit gory, and all trippy.  Looking forward to this one.

TRANCE opens at the end of March for the UK, and beginning of April here in the States.  Looks like a can't-miss to me.
