Nordling is enjoying the West Coast life right now, learning all about how California knows how to party and going on and on about the first Double-Double he ever ate last night... But it's not all pleasure and California dreamin' for him out there. He's got some business to attend to as well, most specifically taking in the 4th Annual Creative Arts Ceremony held by the International 3D Society. 

This year, 25 honors were bestowed for "distinguished achievement" in the world of 3-D, with LIFE OF PI walking away a big trophy winner, notching victories for Best Live Action 3D Feature, Best Stereography – Live Action, and 3D Sequence/Moment of the Year. Pixar's BRAVE also was a two-time victor for the evening, notching triumphs for for Best Animated 3D feature, and Best Stereography – Animation. MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS also managed to register a win for Best Use of 2D to 3D Conversion in 2012 and... yes, Katy Perry can also now count her PART OF ME as an award-winner, taking home the prize for Best Motion Picture Live Event.
