Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. If you want to be surprised by something awesome in these short momements before the nation's eyes turn to TVs and get absorbed into the game of games (or, the super bowl thingy if you want to be a dick about it), then do I have a trailer for you.

There's a film that exists in this world called Lua Phat, which translates to Monk on Fire, but the English title will be Once Upon A Time in Vietnam. You probably haven't heard of it. I know I didn't know it existed before today, but it's billing itself as the most ambitious film Vietnam has ever attempted.

Dustin Nguyen is directing. You might recognize him as an actor in the 21 Jump Street series. He also has a role in this film alongside Roger Yuan and Veronica Ngo Thanh Van.

I couldn't tell you the story except the trailer that made its way online recently really blew my hair back. It has a Shaw Brothers feel, but throw in some motorcycles and a pinch of a fairy tale vibe and you get something that is now highly anticipated.
