In an effort to keep us focused on the Super Bowl this Sunday, HBO is debuting on Saturday new episodes of two of my favorite half-hours.
The new “Girls” airs at 10:05 p.m.
The new “Enlightend airs at 10:35 p.m.
Both shows will repeat in their regular Sunday timeslots as well.
Chief “Girl” writer-producers Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner, by the way, are developing a second series for HBO, this one about a legendary Manhattan personal shopper to the stars.
“Saturday Night Live” is currently NBC’s top scripted series, in primetime or out. You’d think it was still an election year!
